Limits, first
- You cannot remove an advocate from a program. Approval is final, and there is no archive, suspend, or remove action. If you need someone out of a program, contact support@kindlinghq.com.
- You cannot edit an advocate's profile. Name, social links, and audience details are set by the advocate.
- Decisions are not made here. Approve and decline happen on the program's Manage applications page. See Review applications.
The three tabs
| Tab | Who is in it |
|---|---|
| Approved | Anyone with at least one approved enrollment |
| Pending | Anyone with at least one application waiting for a decision |
| Archived | Anyone with at least one declined application |
Archived is not an action you take. It is the list of declined applications, kept so you can see who applied and was turned down.
The counters at the top (Total people, Approved, Pending, Archived) count distinct people. A person with an approved enrollment in one program and a pending application in another counts once in Approved and once in Pending, so the three tab counters can add up to more than Total people.
Reading the roster
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Advocate | Name, email, and a link to their primary social profile. A Blocked chip appears here when they cannot be paid |
| Programs | Their programs in this tab's bucket: on Approved, the programs they are enrolled in; on Pending, the ones they are waiting on; on Archived, the ones that declined them. Each links to the program |
| Tier | The audience size band they reported: <1K, 1-10K, 10-50K, 50-100K, or 100K+. A dash means they did not report one |
| Impressions | Reported impressions across their approved posts in this tab's programs |
| Earnings | Calculated payouts across those approved posts |
| Posts | Approved submissions in those programs |
| Applied | Age of their earliest application in this tab's bucket, such as 3d or 2mo |
Search matches name, email, and program name. The count beside the search box shows how many rows match. Opening an advocate from global search lands here with only that person shown and a Show all link.
Someone on Approved with dashes in Impressions and Posts has joined and never posted. That is the most common and most fixable state on this screen; a personal follow-up after approval usually fixes it.
Advocates who cannot be paid
An advocate is Blocked when they have earnings from you waiting to go out over Stripe and their Stripe Connect account cannot receive them. Precisely: they have payout ledger entries for your workspace that are accrued or pending disbursement on the Stripe rail, and their Stripe Connect status is not active. Held and failed payments do not count, and neither do gift card, charity, or company-defined rewards, which do not use Stripe Connect.
When any advocate is blocked, a Blocked · n chip appears beside the search box. Click it to filter the current tab to blocked advocates; click again to clear. Blocked rows carry an accent rule on the left and a chip on the name reading, for example, Blocked · 2 · $140 · Not onboarded: the number of payments waiting, their total, and the cause.
| Cause | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not onboarded | The advocate has not completed Stripe Connect onboarding |
| Restricted | The advocate's Stripe account is restricted or disabled. Defined, but you will rarely see it |
Nothing on your side clears a block. It clears on its own once the advocate's Stripe Connect status becomes active. The Payouts screen shows the same blockers in a banner, longest-waiting first, with a View blocked advocates link that opens this screen with the filter on. See How advocate payouts work.
An individual advocate
Click any row, or a name in the Payouts blockers banner, to open the advocate's profile at /dashboard/creators/<id>. Back to advocates returns you to the tab and filter you came from. The page exists only for advocates with at least one application or enrollment with you.
From top to bottom:
Header. Name, "Advocate since" (the date they created their Kindling account), a link to their primary social profile, and, if they are blocked, the same Blocked chip as the roster. Clicking the chip filters the activity table to accrued payments.
Contact. Email, each social profile as a link labeled by its domain, and their audience size band.
Totals. Impressions, Earnings, Approved posts, and Programs. The first three are across approved posts in all of your programs; Programs counts every enrollment with you in any status.
Programs. One row per enrollment: Program, Status (PENDING, APPROVED, or REJECTED), Applied, Approved date, Impressions, Earnings, Posts.
Payment status.
| Row | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Stripe Connect | Ready, Not set up, or Restricted |
| Blocked | Shown only when blocked: payment count, total, cause, and a See blocking entries link |
| Held | Shown when any payment is on hold pending action, with a See held link |
| Failed | Shown when any payment did not process, with a See failed link |
| Lifetime disbursed | Total paid out to this advocate from your workspace, net of fees |
Activity. Every submission and every payout ledger entry for this advocate across your programs, newest first, 25 at a time with a Load more link. Columns: Date, Program, Platform, Post (a link), Impressions, Submission status, Amount, Rail (Stripe, Tremendous, or Company), Payment status. Filter by Submission (Pending, Approved, Rejected), Payment (Accrued, Held, Pending disbursement, Disbursed, Failed), or Rail. Filtering by Payment or Rail hides submissions that have no payment yet.
Click a row to expand it: submission and ledger IDs (click to copy), submitted and reviewed times, ledger created, updated, and disbursed times, engagement (impressions, likes, comments, shares), the hold or failure reason, the rejection reason, and, for a pending submission, a Review submission link into the program's submissions queue.
FAQ
What does a dash in the Tier column mean?
They did not report an audience size. It has no effect on payment, which is based on reported impressions.
Can I move someone between programs?
No. Enrollment is per program. They apply to the other program, or you send them an invite code for it, and you approve.
Can I see what an advocate earned across all programs?
On the roster, Earnings is per tab: the Approved tab totals their approved programs. The Totals strip on their profile is across every program of yours they are in.
Why does the same person show in two tabs?
They have enrollments in different states, for example approved in one program and pending in another. Each tab shows the programs in that state.
Where is the archive action?
There is none. Archived means declined applications. There is no way to remove an approved advocate today; contact support@kindlinghq.com.
