Kindling uses a two-part pricing model: a flat platform fee plus a transaction fee on advocate payouts processed through the platform. Monthly plans also include a per-advocate fee for every accepted advocate enrolled in your program. You only pay more when your advocates earn more.

### Is there really no annual contract?

No. Kindling is month-to-month on the monthly plan and billed annually on the annual plan. You can cancel either at the end of any billing period. We don't lock you in because the product should earn your business every month.

### What does the 15% transaction fee apply to?

Only to advocate payouts processed through Kindling. If you pay an advocate $200 for content, Kindling's fee on that transaction is $30. If you have a month with no payouts, the transaction fee is $0.

### What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?

Monthly subscribers pay $299/month plus $1.49 per accepted advocate per month. Every advocate you accept into your program incurs this fee each month they remain enrolled — regardless of whether they post. If you have 20 advocates in your program, that's an extra $29.80 on top of the platform fee every month. Annual subscribers pay $2,999/year (12 months for the price of 10) with no per-advocate charge — enrolled advocates cost nothing extra.

### How do creator payouts work?

Kindling processes payouts on the 1st and 15th of every month. Advocates onboard once with their banking details, submit content, and receive direct deposits automatically. You approve submissions — we handle the rest. No invoices, no wire transfers, no spreadsheets.

### Can I set my own CPM rates?

Yes. You set the CPM rate for your program. Most programs start between $5–$25 CPM depending on the platform and content type. You can adjust rates at any time and set different rates for different content categories.

### Is there a setup fee?

No. You sign up, configure your program, and invite advocates. If you want hands-on help standing up your program, our managed services offering starts at $5,000/month.

### Is there a free trial?

We act as a fractional ALG operator: identifying your best advocates, personally recruiting them, setting content strategy, managing briefs and cadence, and reporting on performance. The platform fee is included in the engagement. Think of it as hiring an experienced operator for your advocacy program without the overhead of a full-time hire.

### Do advocates need to create a Kindling account?

Yes, advocates go through a lightweight onboarding to verify their customer status and connect their bank account for direct deposit payouts. This takes about 5 minutes. We've optimized this flow heavily — a complicated signup is the fastest way to kill advocate momentum.

### What if I want to cancel?

Cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your program stays active through the end of the current billing period. Any pending advocate payouts are processed as scheduled — we don't leave your creators hanging.
